What is Express Submit?

Express Submit is a paid service provided by Top10Links designed to insure that your web site is considered for inclusion in our directory in a timely manner.

For those that cannot afford or do not want to pay the fee for this service, we offer a free submission option called Basic Submit.

The current fee for Express Submit is a one time NON-REFUNDABLE fee of US $49 for each web site submitted.

Do you guarantee anything?
We guarantee that within 7 business days a Top10Links editor will visit your site, consider adding it to our directory and notify you at the email address you provided as to whether or not your site has been added to our directory.

How will my site be categorized or ranked?
If a Top10Links editor decides to add your site to our directory, it will be assigned the most appropriate category and ranking as determined solely by the reviewing editor.

What do editors consider when selecting sites?
First they verify that your site meets the minimum criteria as listed at the following URL:

If your site meets the minimum criteria it is then evaluated based on a variety of other criteria, some of which are explained in our methodology FAQ.

Can I submit more than one page of my site?
No, you may only submit one page per domain and it must be the domains main page. Editors reserve the sole right to make the final determination regarding what page of your site will be listed but generally will select a site's main page.

Can I submit an interior page of my site?
Submitting a URL to an interior page of a site is generally not allowed. If one is submitted, the editor will determine whether an exception will be allowed.

If it is not allowed, the editor will consider adding the URL to the home page of your site.

If it is allowed, the editor will consider adding it to an existing listing, if it exists, as an alternative link for the existing site. If the main page of a site is not already listed, we may either add the main page first and then add the interior URL you submitted as an alternative link.

Can I submit more than one site?
Yes, you may submit multiple sites so long as they have unique domain names but since an editor needs to visit and consider each site there is a separate fee for each site you submit.

Can I submit a sub-domain?
No, you may not submit a sub-domain, other than www, or unique page or section of your site. You must submit your sites main domain name only.

Can I submit a description for my site?
No, sites in our directory currently do not contain descriptions. If we decide to add them in the future, an editor will create a description for you.

Can I submit a review for my site?
No, sites in our directory currently do not contain reviews. If we decide to add them in the future, an editor will create a review for you.

Can I submit keywords for my site?
No, editors will assign relevant keywords to your listing for you. We do not accept requests for changes or additions to keywords for your site.

Can I submit a name for my site?
No, the name of your site will be your company's or organization's official name as it is most commonly displayed on your site.

Can I suggest a category(s) for my site?
No, if the editor that reviews your site decides to add it to the directory they will add it to the most relevant category.

Can I submit a site already listed?
This service is intended for sites that are not yet listed in our directory. If you submit a site that is already listed, we will review the site to insure the listing is correct and make any adjustments if necessary. You will not be eligible for a refund. To update the title or URL of a site already in our directory, go to our contact page to submit your request.

Can I resubmit a site?
If you previously used our Express Submit service and your site was denied a listing, you have 60 days to address the concerns of the editor and resubmit your site as per the instructions in your notification email. If you choose to resubmit your site and an editor denies your site again, that domain name may not be resubmitted.

Do non profit organizations need to pay?
Non profit organizations may submit their sites to Top10Links at no charge under our Basic Submit service. However we cannot guarantee how long it will take for your site to be considered by our editors.

If you wish to have your non profit organization's web site reviewed in a more timely manner, please consider using our paid Express Submit service.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We use the secure online payment processing services of PayPal. PayPal accepts all major credit cards or you can pay with your checking account number.

Is my payment info secure?
Yes, Top10Links uses the online payment processing services of PayPal which uses industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to help ensure security for your online orders. SSL is a protocol for securing data transmission in commercial transactions on the Internet. All credit card and checking account numbers and order information are protected by SSL technology.

Can I get a refund?
Once you submit your payment information online, you are NOT eligible for refund. This as well as other terms and conditions to using Express Submit are specified in our terms of service which must be read and agreed to before you may submit your site.

The fee charged for Express Submit is for the time and effort taken by one of our editors to visit and review your site so that the editor can consider adding it to our directory. Whether your site is added or not, the editors time and effort has been spent and thus we cannot refund the fees for this service.

If your site is declined, you may resubmit the site within 60 days, without charge, according to the instructions in the email you receive.

Can I mail you a check?
Currently we do not accept any payments by mail. You may however provide your checking account number online through our payment processor, PayPal, and the fee will be deducted from your checking account.

Can you waive the fee?
Except for some non-profits, we are not able to waive the submission fee. We also do not accept any form of barter (links, banners, services, products, etc...) in exchange for waiving the fee of the Express Submit service.

You may suggest a change to how your site's title appears in our directory at anytime and without charge, through our account center. Although our editors have sole and final responsibility as to how your site's titles appears, they will take into consideration any suggested changes.

No, sites are listed only in the most relevant category as determined by our editors.

How long will my listing last?
There is no time period for how long listings will last. While we reserve the right to move or remove any listing at anytime for any reason, most listings will remain in our directory so long as they continue to meet our minimum listing criteria.

How come my site is no longer listed?
Either your site's URL was reported and confirmed as not functioning or the category editor updated the category and determined your site no longer meets one of our minimum criteria or one or more of our internal criteria. If you know you had domain name related access problems or your site's content has changed significantly, you are welcome to submit your site again at anytime.

Why was my site not listed?

The reason a site was not listed is explained in the notification email. There are two possible reasons.

1) It was declined because it did not meet one of our minimum criteria or internal criteria.

2) It was accepted but we do not yet have an appropriate category to list it in. Once an appropriate category has been created, it will be added.

Can I appeal your decision?

If your site is declined, you may appeal our decision within 60 days of receipt of your notification email by following the instructions in our notification email.

Appeals take the form of a final resubmission of your site per the instructions in our email notification after having addressed the issues that caused your site to be declined in the first place.

If you appeal the decision and your site is declined again, the decision is final and you may not resubmit the same site again using our Express Submit service.
